Bourne Partners is pleased to announce that John Chiminski has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. With more than 37 years of leadership experience in healthcare, pharma, and pharma services, Mr. Chiminski will provide strategic insights, leverage industry relationships, and support transaction execution to strengthen Bourne Partners’ investment banking and strategic capital initiatives.

Mr. Chiminski served as CEO of Catalent, Inc. from 2009 to 2015, then as Chair and CEO from 2016 through 2022, and as Executive Chair until June 2023. Under his leadership, Catalent grew into a global Tier 1 CDMO, significantly expanding its capabilities and market reach. In 2024, Catalent was acquired by Novo Holdings for $16.5 billion, reflecting its strong market position and the value created over the previous decade. Prior to Catalent, he spent more than two decades at GE Healthcare in senior leadership roles, including President & CEO of GE Medical Diagnostics.

In addition to his role at Bourne Partners, Mr. Chiminski is Chair of Ascend Advanced Therapies, a board member at QuidelOrtho, and Senior Advisor at Abingworth.
